Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and academic leadership for the Primary School, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
* Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation, preferably within the CBSE framework.
* Lead, mentor, and supervise teachers and academic staff, promoting professional development and effective teaching practices.
* Monitor students’ academic progress and overall development, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
* Establish a safe, inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment that prioritises student welfare and safeguarding.
* Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, school management, and other stakeholders to strengthen student outcomes.
* Implement school policies, academic standards, and quality assurance practices in line with institutional objectives.
* Encourage innovative teaching methodologies, extracurricular participation, and the holistic development of students.
* Foster a positive school culture built on discipline, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
* Master’s Degree in Education or a relevant discipline.
* Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same or another educational leadership position.
* Experience in a CBSE-affiliated school is strongly preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to lead academic teams, manage school operations, and maintain high educational standards.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and leadership skills.
* A genuine passion for primary education and the academic, social, and emotional development of children.
