Clear terms for a considered introduction.
Last updated: 28 August 2026 · Questions or requests: hello@pathrecruiters.com
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of pathrecruiters.com, our candidate submission service, our employer brief form, and our private recruitment workspace (together, the “Services”), operated by Path Recruiters (“Path Recruiters”, “we”, “us”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. Nature of the service
Path Recruiters is a recruitment consultancy that introduces candidates to employers across African markets. Submitting a CV, completing an employer brief, receiving an introduction, or holding an account does not guarantee an interview, placement, offer, or hire. Hiring decisions remain solely with the relevant employer, and career decisions remain solely with the relevant candidate.
2. Candidates
- You confirm that the information and documents you submit are accurate and that you are entitled to share them.
- You will not submit another person’s CV or contact details without their authority.
- You agree to tell us promptly if your availability, contact details, or preferences about being represented change.
- We will discuss a specific opportunity with you before presenting your profile to an employer; the employer’s own process may change at their discretion.
3. Employers
Submitting a hiring brief starts a conversation and is not, by itself, a binding recruitment agreement. Fees, scope, exclusivity, payment terms, and any replacement guarantee are agreed separately, in writing, before a placement is made. Employers must treat any candidate information we share confidentially and use it solely for the stated hiring purpose, and must not attempt to bypass Path Recruiters to contact a candidate directly outside an agreed engagement.
4. Private workspace
Access to our internal recruitment workspace is restricted to authorised Path Recruiters personnel. Anyone with access must keep their credentials and devices secure, use candidate and employer data only for Path Recruiters’ legitimate recruitment operations, and report any suspected unauthorised access without delay. We may suspend access at any time where security or confidentiality is at risk.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, copy, resell, or otherwise misuse candidate or employer data obtained through the Services.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, shortlist links, rate limits, or other security measures.
- Do not submit malware, spam, false information, or unlawful content.
- Do not use the Path Recruiters name, mark, or content without our prior written permission.
6. Intellectual property and third-party services
The Path Recruiters name, mark, and the content and software comprising the Services are owned by or licensed to Path Recruiters and may not be used without permission. The Services rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, email, and analytics; their availability is outside our control and their own terms may apply to your use of them.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis, and Path Recruiters is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the Services after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@pathrecruiters.com. For how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
